Sony, Lionsgate, Apple and Netflix entered into a bidding war for the film package before Apple closed the deal. Brad Pitt and George Clooney, who are producing the film through their production companies, reportedly took less time to negotiate a theatrical release with Apple. Early in the film, George Clooney cuts open the unicorn’s backpack with a knife, leaving the stuffing sticking out. By the end of the film, the unicorn is intact. The film itself is pretty decent. George and Brad make it very watchable. If it weren’t for these two heavyweights and it was just two average actors, it wouldn’t be anything special. But Clooney and Pitt are quality and their comedic skills shouldn’t be underestimated. Kudos to both of them. I first saw them together in Burn Without Reading. It’s a good film too. They really work well together and their chemistry is fantastic. I hope to see them work together again. I would recommend watching the film. It’s definitely worth a watch. Especially for the performances of the two excellent lead actors.
