When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
Known as Beaver Bank Villa, the site features a long history, and many years ago housed housing units, a community center, fire station, school, church, grocery store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that was in operation in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved streets and driveways were all that remained, and the make-believe town was built on them.
A rope is lowered to him
When Boyd climbs out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and is chained to the wall. The rope was not thrown down by Martin. Featured in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV shows) (2022).
A pleasant surprise
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be), written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by The Pixies. The preview looked like a hodgepodge of various series like “Wayward Pines,” “Lost,” and a bit of “Under the Dome.” After seeing that it was produced by the same creators as Lost, I was expecting a vague plot, but it has a solid storyline and the characters are likable. While it’s not perfect, it does have suspense and is good enough to keep me hooked.
