The site, known as the Beaver Bank Villa has a long history, and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of a nearby military radar base which operated in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The paved streets and driveways were all that remained, and the fake town was built on them.. When Boyd enters a far away tree he finds himself at the bottom of a well.

You’re heading straight for the same trap. None of the characters communicate with each other or share what’s happening in town. It’s as if they’ve suddenly become clueless, deliberately withholding important information that could help them understand what’s going on. Also, in every single episode, something new happens, but it’s never explained.
I've watched 14 episodes so far, and nothing has been clarified-just like "Lost"So please, writers and producers, don't ruin this one too
